We had done it! We were officially halfway through the toughest year of our lives. Every last one of us nailed our Senior Project presentations, and so we were off to the Rat. Yes, it was 11:00 in the morning, but we earned it. Nick had gone to the Rat the night before to make arrangements for the many stressed-out, ready-to-let-loose Nerds that would be filing in early the next day. It didn't take long before everyone had a beer or eight.

Tooch was having a great time making everyone do a stupid handshake, correcting them everytime they got it wrong and smiling stupidly and hugging them when they got it right. Of course, he was smiling stupidly because he was stupid drunk. So drunk that he didn't realize that the girl he was crushing on all semester was hitting on him the whole time. What a retard.

Steve drove Nick back to his townhouse because he was in no shape to walk. As he was literally stumbling to the car, walking more sideways than straight, Nick reached for his phone.

"Toooooch? What are you doing?" Steve asked skeptically.

"I'm gonna call my dad", Nick slurred.

"I don't think you should do tha..."

But before Steve could finish, Nick countered with "BRAGHIMGONNACALLMYDAD!!!". The conversation went something like this:

Nick[slurring]: "Dad? It's Nick!"...pause..."Okay!"...hangs up.

Steve: "What did he say?"

Nick: "He asked me if I was drunk....then he said he'd call me back."

Nick stumbled to his townhouse but couldn't get in. He kept swiping and swiping but the door just wouldn't open. It took ten minutes for Ladi to see Nick struggling, and he came over to discover that Nick was attempting to swipe into his house using his debit card.

"Nick where's your School ID?" Ladi asked, trying not to bust out laughing. Nick held out his Debit Card, Drivers License, School ID, and Gas Card....his hands cupped as though he were receiving Holy Communion. "Which one is it?" he slurred.
